I hate hearing people using "lynching" for anything other than that. Trial? Not a lynching. Accusations? No. It's not a good analogy. Ever.

British people didn't have a lot of plantations did they? I'm honestly curious why he'd use the reference since it seem so out of place for a rich, white BRITISH pop singer. Maybe he's like Dog the Bounty Hunter and figures he's a quarter black.
